Reservations

A current credit card is required for all reservations, you are not charged for your appointment at the time of booking, it is simply held on file securely for emergencies. Our current forms are attached to each online booking, please read through, in case you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Violet Hour Skin is a small space and we’re in close proximity to our fellow quiet businesses, we ask that you come to you appointment alone, no pets or children (unless they also have an appointment!). Obviously, trained service animals are acceptable, this does not include untrained emotional support pets.

Please do not make an appointment if:

  • You feel unwell - please wait until you’re feeling better to schedule your appointment.

  • You have any cold or flu symptoms, even mild.

  • A member of your household is unwell or exhibiting cold or flu like symptoms, even mild.

  • You have recently tested positive for COVID-19 until you are testing negative.

appointment Emails, texts and calls

We make every effort to ensure that you have plenty of notice about your upcoming appointment. You will be given the option to opt in to text notifications and opt out of email notifications.

  • When you schedule an appointment, you will receive an email & text with your appointment details, links to forms and any other information that you will need prior to your appointment.

  • 48 hours out, you’ll receive an email/text to confirm your appointment and the reminded that you have 24 hrs to cancel or reschedule without penalty.

  • 24 hours out you’ll receive a reminder email/text and, if you haven’t confirmed your appointment, a call from our front desk to confirm and give you the last opportunity to cancel or reschedule without penalty if you answer the call.

We send multiple notifications as a courtesy and want to give you every opportunity to cancel or reschedule outside of 24 hrs to avoid penalties. It is your responsibility to keep track of your appointments.

We may also text you the day before your appointment to remind you to read through your appointment email or fill in your intake forms.

Late Cancellations & Reschedules

We respect your time and we hope that you respect ours. Our Policies are in place to ensure that we can afford to keep the lights on 😉

Cancellations and rescheduling appointments within 24 hours of your appointment time is considered late and will be charged 50% of the cancelled or rescheduled appointment to the card used to hold the appointment. This period allows us time to fill the slot.

If you late cancel or reschedule more than once consecutively, you will be asked to prepay for your appointments. If you late cancel or reschedule you will forfeit the prepayment (100% of the appointment cost). At this point, you may not be a great fit for Violet Hour Skin.

If you cancel within 4 hours of your appointment time, then this is considered a no-show, please refer to the No-Show section below. 

In the unforeseen case of an emergency with our team, your appointment may be moved to another therapist without notice. If another therapist is unavailable, and we have to late cancel or reschedule on you, we will pass on the same courtesy to you and give you 50% off the appointment that has to be rescheduled.

For Inner Circle Membership complimentary treatments, late cancellations will forfeit your complimentary treatment for that month in lieu of the late cancellation fee.

Parking

Please be aware of your appointment duration or ask us if you’re unsure prior to parking. There is metered parking on Yale, some are for 2 hrs, some are for less, please park accordingly.

At The Studio

We recommend planning to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment so that you have time to park, use the restroom or relax before your scheduled appointment time.

  • The entry code for the wrought iron gate is given to you in your confirmation emails or we will have texted it to you, please enter and come on through to Suite 8.

  • If the door is locked, please don’t knock, we are expecting you and will let you in as soon as we are out of the previous appointment.

Late Arrivals & No-Shows

If you are running late, please call or text us as soon as you can on (323) 539-7747. We understand that shit happens and will always try our best to accommodate you but we can't guarantee that we will be able to take you in late. If we are able to take you in late but have to modify your treatment, you will be required to pay for the original booked treatment. If we are unable to take you in and you choose to reschedule, you will be required to pay for 50% of the missed appointment. If you choose not to reschedule, your appointment will be treated as a no-show.

If you do not show up to your appointment you will be required to pay for the missed appointment in full to the card used to hold the appointment.

For Inner Circle Membership complimentary treatments, a no show will forfeit your complimentary treatment for that month in lieu of the no-show fee.

Pricing & Schedule

All prices and schedules are subject to change without notice.

Product Returns

Unopened products can be returned for a refund to the original payment method or a gift card within 30 days of purchase. Opened products or products without their original packaging are not able to be refunded. If you have experienced an issue with a purchased product, please email us details (with pics if possible) to hello@violethourskin.com so that we can assist you - we will work something out, never fear!

Gift cards, packages and certificates

  • Gift cards and certificates purchased for specific services will be valid for that service for 12 months even if the service pricing has changed, after that time the gift card or certificate will be redeemable for the dollar amount it was purchased for, redeemable on goods and/or services.

  • Packages are valid for the treatments specified at no additional cost for 12 months after the original purchase date, even if our prices have changed. After that time, you will be required to pay the difference in price for the services, this will be worked out at the package price divided by the amount of services.

  • Gift cards and certificates are not refundable or redeemable for cash.

  • Gift Cards and certificates do not expire.

  • Vouchers, promotional treatments and offers are subject to the terms set in the offer and, unless otherwise specified, expire six (6) months after the associated promotion or purchase.
