Founded by Natarsha Bimson

Natarsha opened the doors of Violet Hour Skin in February, 2021 - during the pandemic. It was a sink or swim moment, potentially completely crazy but she took the risk knowing that the industry needed to change in some fundamental ways and ready or not, she was going to try to be the change.

Not only did she feel that the obsession with over exfoliation was ruining healthy skin but she also felt that the beauty industry could do better by the women we serve.

Heading into her forties herself, Natarsha was acutely aware of the pressure on women to age without a line, spot or crease on their faces. The lines, spots and creases that represent, to her, a life well lived; beauty that tells a story with its flaws. She hopes to pass on a comfortability with the aging process that, as a society we’re beginning to see, very little of.

She wants to change the focus from perfection and youth to skin health because she believes that healthy skin is beautiful skin at every age and every stage.
